A membership organisation created by colleges themselves, AoC exists to give a strong voice for colleges and to lobby on their behalf. We provide members with many essential services including weekly briefings on topics of key interest to staff at all levels, opportunities to join debates and discounts for conferences and training events. Members join the UK's largest network of colleges, have a chance to share ideas on college management and to shape the future of further education. We strive at all times to listen and improve our offer.
AoC has 274 full members (93% of the 294 colleges in the sector). Against a difficult global and UK economy, our membership levels have remained constant and even grown. Further education, sixth form, tertiary and specialist colleges across the UK are entitled to full AoC membership. We welcome enquiries about subscription from organisations who work in the further education sector or supply colleges. Current affiliate subscribers include accountancy companies, law firms, awarding bodies, local authorities and universities. Affiliate subscribers benefit from AoC’s market intelligence, excellent national networking opportunities and special conference rates.
