Our Climate and Sustainability Work
AoC’s climate change mission is:
“Reducing our impact on the environment, living within our means, and thinking about future generations”.
We aim to promote a sound awareness and understanding of local, national and global sustainable development issues among staff, and are taking steps towards being a more sustainable organisation by adopting a more intentional, formal and joined up approach towards addressing climate change. To support this ambition, we have developed a Climate Change and Sustainability Strategy, we report on our energy and carbon output and are working towards developing activities that contribute positively to carbon reduction, and to the enhancement and maintenance of environmental and social resources. Ambitious, but realistic, sustainability goals have therefore been set in our Carbon Reduction Plan, and are routinely monitored and reported on.
