- Erasmus Placements
Erasmus Placements
Florida Universitaria in Valencia, Spain, are looking for companies that would be interested in hosting one of their students for an internship period of 2-6 months. The most suitable period for their students to carry out their placements abroad is between February – July.
They provide Higher Education in the following fields:
UNIVERSITY DEGREES:
Primary and Childhood Education Teaching
Business Administration
Tourism
Electronical and Mechanical Engineering
VET (also included Higher Education in Spain):
Finances and Accounting
Marketing
Childhood Education Teaching
Development of Multiplatform Applications
Development of Web Applications
Computer and Networks Administration
3D Animation Games and Interactive Environments
Robotics
Mechatronics
In order to be awarded with an Erasmus Placements grant, their students need to have, at least, a B1 English level. Of course, companies might require some other skills/knowledge.
The Erasmus Placements grant includes some budget for their students to help them with the costs derived from living abroad, as well as an insurance covering the whole internship period including: medical and travel assistance and third-parties liability.
Therefore, companies do not have to pay anything for hosting the Erasmus student during the placement period. However, students are more than happy to receive some extra budget from companies, if they decide so.
Florida Universitaria can offer placements in companies for foreign students too, provided that they have an interim level of Spanish (B1 minimum). They collaborate with more than 3500 companies in the Valencia region and Spain so they offer tailored placements in one of those companies. They are currently cooperating with one Italian training centre exchanging students to be hosted in local companies abroad.
Please contact Laura Uixera Cotano if your institution is interested in cooperating with Florida Universitaria for these purposes.
