- Pearson BTEC Awards 2020
Pearson BTEC Awards 2020
This year marks the 10th anniversary of the BTEC Awards and Pearson are looking to crown the most exceptional BTEC students, teachers and establishments globally.
What better way to showcase how BTEC works than to hear from a high-profile former BTEC student in your college? It’s a unique opportunity to promote your BTEC learning offering to students and parents and demonstrate how far a BTEC will take you. Winning a BTEC Award is an internationally recognised accolade that really boosts career prospects and professional recognition.
There will be special lunchtime reception for winners and their guests at the House of Commons, and a star-studded ceremony at Central Hall Westminster. One winning provider will also win a visit from a VIP BTEC Ambassador in Autumn 2020.
Let them know who your BTEC stars are and why they should be a BTEC Award winner by visiting BTEC.co.uk/awards. The deadline for nominations is Friday 3 April.
Cindy Rampersaud, Senior Vice President, UK BTEC and Apprenticeships, Pearson said:
"It's an amazing afternoon where we get to celebrate and congratulate learners, and all those who teach them, for their phenomenal achievements. Ten years on from our first awards' ceremony, it's inspirational to see the positive impact BTEC has had on the lives of so many students, including our winners, over the years - supporting many to make progress in their lives and careers - be it to university, further study or into a career - achieving their aspirations!"
John Fallon, Chief Executive Officer, Pearson said:
"The potential for BTEC globally is huge - this ability to know things, and apply what you know applies everywhere. It unlocks that talent and it's unstoppable!"
