Current Opportunity - Director of Quality and Improvement - Leicester College
AoC Create is supporting Leciester College to recruit a Director of Quality and Improvement
Leicester College is a general further education college in the East Midlands offering students innovative and excellent facilities across several areas including construction, engineering, hospitality and art and design. The college was recently graded as a Good provider and also offers a strong HE provision in conjunction with De Montfort University which is rated TEF Gold.
With a circa. £41million turnover and 20,000 students, the college vision is “To equip people with the skills they need to be successful in education, in work and business and in their personal lives”.
As Director of Quality and Improvement, reporting directly to the Principal, you will be instrumental in building on the college success and help to shape its future direction. You will drive and develop a new Quality strategy and lead to the further development of teaching, learning and assessment. You will also play a key part in keeping college Governors updated on progress and setting the agenda.
The postholder will have a strong track record of success in leading and managing quality and improvement strategies within a further education environment. You will possess an engaging presentation style and be adept at written/oral communication as well as be skilled in data analysis. Ideally, you will have experience as a college nominee or as an inspector. As a resilient senior manager comfortable with change, your ability to deliver improvement and change is as important as your skills in planning and developing strategy.
This is an exciting opportunity to build, create and maintain a culture of continuous improvement!
For an informal discussion about the post please contact Lesley Lightfoot on 07748067344 or email Lesley_lightfoot@aoc-services.co.uk or visit the dedicated microsite for more information.
All applications must be received by Sunday 10 June 2018
Final Selection will be held at the college on Thursday 28 June 2018
