Current Opportunity: Chief Executive - Coleg Cambria
AoC Create's Executive Recruitment Team is delighted to be assisting Coleg Cambria in the recruitment of their next Chief Executive.
Coleg Cambria has enjoyed a resounding track record of achievement since its formation in 2013. They are regarded as one of the most successful colleges in the UK, based on students’ results, impactful partnerships and reputation, and their position as the highest-performing college in Wales was confirmed by the HMI Estyn reports on Further Education, and Work Based Learning. They work at the heart of their communities and economies, building aspiration and skills, while making a significant contribution to the region’s economic growth.
Coleg Cambria are continually pushing the boundaries of excellence and innovation in education and training, and their new Chief Executive Officer will be key to the college fulfilling our vision of being a “leading education and skills organisation - internationally recognised for excellence in all that we do”.
Spearheading their ongoing success and development, the new CEO will ensure that the college is a responsive institution, focused on promoting social inclusion and economic prosperity through ensuring access to innovative, high quality provision. This will include developing and implementing a strategic vision to take them into the next decade, which addresses key external priorities spanning Welsh government policy, developments in further and higher education, and the strategic aims of local partners. Acting as a strong ambassador for the college, the CEO will forge and nurture impactful partnerships and identify opportunities. Internally, they will lead and motivate a strong leadership team and talented workforce, while championing a culture of ongoing excellence and high aspiration.
