During this session, Steven Tucker will go through the nominee’s role before, during and after an inspection. He will cover topics such as:

  • the process of inspection – what the lead inspector will expect of you and your colleagues
  • the steps that nominees can take to ensure their colleagues are prepared for an inspection
  • the arrangements nominees should make to ensure the inspection runs smoothly
  • how to work effectively with inspectors and college staff during the inspection
  • pinch points and challenges that a nominee faces during an inspection, and how to deal with them
  • an overview of the latest published guidance from Ofsted on arrangements for inspections under the new framework

Attendees will have time to discuss the points Steven raises and discuss ‘hot topics’

This session is offered on two dates so participants need only select one date.
