AoC mental health and wellbeing surveys

The 2025 AoC Mental Health report presents the current iteration of the evolving landscape of student and staff mental health in further education colleges. Colleges continue to prioritise mental health and wellbeing with compassion and innovation; however, urgent external support and investment is needed to ensure long-term impact.

The report summarises the responses from AoC’s mental health survey 2025. It provides baseline data about the challenges faced and approaches taken by colleges to address mental health and wellbeing, to inform our members and our stakeholders. The surveys questions were grouped under the following themes:
