Implementing these recommendations will contribute significantly to the Opportunity England vision by enhancing digital literacy and competency across further education (FE). It will bridge the digital divide, ensuring equitable access to digital resources and learning opportunities for all students. By updating teacher training and study programmes, the educational workforce will be better equipped to meet the demands of a digitally driven economy. Collaboration with sector agencies and dedicated funding for infrastructure will further strengthen the digital capabilities of educational institutions. Ultimately, these steps will lead to a more inclusive, technologically advanced education system, aligning with the broader goals of
economic growth and productivity.
