Eastleigh CollegeVice Principal Curriculum & QualityCompetitive Salary
Eastleigh College is a leading Further Education college specialising in education and training, supporting over 20,000 learners locally and through an extensive national network of managed partners.
The college is well known for its technical and specialist employment based education and training. It is judged Grade 1 “Outstanding” by Ofsted across all areas in 2012 and has a reputation for working with employers and our extensive and growing apprenticeship provision.
The college enjoys a good financial position and we have recently completed a £12 million redevelopment to provide state-of-the-art, industry-standard facilities for students.
However, the college has no intention of resting on its laurels and it is continually pushing the boundaries of excellence and innovation in education and training. The new Vice Principal will be instrumental in leading Eastleigh College to achieve the ambitious objectives set by the Corporation, whilst maintaining its “Outstanding” status.
Vice Principal Curriculum & Quality will be responsible for the strategic leadership of teaching and learning, curriculum development and quality assurance across the college and its national work based learning provision. As a Senior Post Holder and working in close collaboration with the CEO, the Vice Principal will set and embed high expectations throughout the college and champion continuous improvement.
Innovative and learner focused, the successful candidate will bring an exceptional track record in the leadership and management of teaching and learning, curriculum development and quality improvement within a FE college. You will demonstrate experience of consistently driving up academic standards and delivering excellent achievement rates, while inspiring and developing staff across a wide spectrum. Strong commercial acumen and the ability to positively impact nationwide provision through a complex network of partners are also of paramount importance.
