Level 3 Results Day Press Release Halesowen College
Halesowen College is today congratulating students on their 2022 exam results. We are celebrating outstanding achievement despite the challenges and uncertainties created for learners during the pandemic and lockdown. Given home schooling, online learning and cancellations of exams in 2020 and 2021, this summer was the first time many students had ever sat an exam. Their hard-earned grades are excellent and an A Level pass rate of more than 96 %, with 17 subjects having a 100% achievement rate, reflects students’ hard work, resilience, and talent.
Students on Level 3 vocational programmes also enjoyed exceptional levels of achievement and our new T Level programmes have seen some exceptional success and 100% pass rates. Vocational qualifications and T Levels are high-quality and, career-focused. The skills gained shape careers, support local industry and impact in the real world. In 2022, these skills have never been more valued.
Andy Dobson, Principal of Halesowen College, said, “We are especially delighted with the results this year, which maintains Halesowen College as an excellent 16-18 provider and, reflects how our students have adapted and continued to learn and flourish during a period of study like no other.
“We have one of the highest levels of progression into higher education, apprenticeship and sustainable employment in the whole of the UK.
“Over 750 students are progressing to a range of universities, including the prestigious Russell Group.
“We are immensely proud of all of our students and delighted for those who have been rewarded for their hard work, innovation and determination. For those students uncertain about the future, our professional team are available to offer advice and guidance to direct learners to their next positive step”.
Places are still available for September 2022 and applicants can contact Halesowen College on 0121 602 7777 or use the live chat on our website https://www.halesowen.ac.uk/
