_____
The AoC Beacon Awards recognise innovative and exemplary teaching and learning practice in colleges and as a result support sector learning and continuous improvement through sharing best practice.
This year, we are introducing a new format for sharing best practice. In line with this development, we are inviting Beacon Award winners from the 2025/26 cycle to contribute to sector-wide learning by showcasing their exemplary practice and expertise. Winning colleges will host an Insight Day based on the project for which they received their Beacon Award, to support and inform colleagues across the further education community.
The Beacon Award Insight Days aim to create a more targeted approach to showcasing outstanding work, enabling winning colleges to share their journey in depth. They will promote collaboration, promote knowledge exchange, and highlight sustainable, transferable models that other colleges can adopt.
Insight Days are free to attend.
