Unique AoC National Futsal Series to start September 2021

August 2021
We are pleased to announce that The AoC National Futsal Series (NFS) - the only post-16 futsal league open to education institutions - will finally resume in September.
The league structure was developed from the National Futsal League and ran for the first time in 2019/20 but could not be completed due to the pandemic.
As the FA’s only futsal provider for FE, The NFS aligns to the FA’s National Futsal Series and is designed to complement AoC Sport’s current regional futsal offering.
The competition is open to any post-16 education institution or EFL Trust Club and has been set up in consultation with AoC Sport members and EFL Trust Club community organisations.
The 2021-22 NFS is made up of men’s teams (some with multiple teams) in three leagues who will battle it out between October and March, with the finals played in May 2022.
The fixtures provide an opportunity for further education institutions and providers who are invested in the development of futsal to test themselves against the best teams in the country. It is also a useful competitive option for those institutions who do not have enough players to commit to an 11-aside football programme.
More details and information are in the presentation below:
If you have any queries please contact the competition administrator Sarah Cochrane.
