Current Opportunity: Chief Executive Officer - United Colleges Group
AoC Create is delighted to support United Colleges Group with the appointment of a Chief Executive Officer.
United Colleges Group (UCG) is a successful education and skills provider with unique opportunities for future growth and ground-breaking development. Formed from the recent merger of City of Westminster College and the College of North West London, the Group is committed to making a lasting difference to the communities it serves. The Group is based in the heart of London and have a combined turnover of around £50m.
UCG's manifold successes include being one of the strongest apprenticeship providers in the country, operating many effective partnerships with key employers regionally and nationally, and achieving high-quality delivery of a diverse, responsive curriculum. They are keen to reach ever greater heights and have ambitious plans to increase scope and impact. These include developing a state-of-the-art new campus in a prestigious location in the capital, creating a technology-enhanced environment for future learners.
Following the retirement of the current CEO, UCG is seeking a new leader who will spearhead future growth and innovation, identifying and developing commercial enterprises in the UK and internationally. Key to the post-holder’s success will be establishing a strong external profile and building effective partnerships which lead to new opportunities for the Group. Alongside this, you will ensure an ongoing culture of aspiration and high quality, harnessing and developing the skills of the talented workforce and embedding a focus of continuous improvement.
