AoC Create Executive Recuitment are delighted to be supporting South Devon College with the recruitment of a new Principal and CEO
An exciting opportunity has arisen to lead South Devon College into the next decade. Their Principal and CEO is retiring after ten successful years in post and the college are seeking a new leader who will further the College’s ambitions and maintain our upward trajectory.
South Devon College is a dynamic and high performing education and skills provider, with a mission firmly rooted in ensuring opportunity, success and prosperity across the local region. With values built on inclusion, aspiration, support, innovation and progress, the culture at the College is excellent.
The college have a broad, innovative curriculum with provision ranging from 14-16 through further education to higher education. The offering is recognised by an overall Good Ofsted rating and TEF Gold status for their higher education provision..
The College’s strong focus on economic priorities has been recognised by the award of the TES FE award for Employer Engagement in 2017. In 2019 the College will open its £17 million Hi Tech & Digital Centre offering even greater opportunities within the expanding hi tech, manufacturing, digital and creative sectors. Visible and aspirational, the new Principal and CEO will have a track record of success as a further education leader, either at Principal or Vice/Deputy Principal level.
They will be values-driven, able to create and embed innovative, forward-thinking strategies to further develop the College, with the credibility to inspire staff, learners and external partners.
