AoC Sport launches new National Futsal League
4th April 2019
AoC Sport has opened up entries for the launch of a new National Futsal League for 2019/20.
The new league will add an additional level of competition to complement AoC Sport’s current regional futsal offering.
The National Futsal League will run throughout the academic season, and will provide an opportunity for further education institutions and providers who are invested in the development of futsal to test themselves against the best teams in the country.
The format of the league will be confirmed in June, once entries have been submitted.
Whilst the regional leagues will continue to run in the same vein as the 2018/19 season (in the latter 2 months of the season and in a festival format), the National Futsal League will run throughout the academic year in a home and away format.
Please note exact format of the league will be dependent on number and geographical location of entries, but a home and away format is preferred if viable.
