I often wonder what it feels like winning a national writing project. Winning this competition will feel like a dream come to life.

I’ve been practising for this competition for at least three weeks now and feel really confident.

My interest in life is writing and I have decided to carry on with it. My uncle Larry who passed away enjoyed writing. He would often speak of the books he read, such as Roald Dahl. This has inspired me to continue his journey to become the best British Novelist.
