AoC SEND National Delivery Group
The purpose of the AoC SEND National Delivery Group is to help AoC consider and influence the implementation of current and future Government policy on SEND both for learners with EHC plans and those without. It will also include looking at any changes to High Needs Funding and the implications these might have for learners. The group will explore and test options and ideas, with strong engagement of members at the heart of the remit.
The SEND National Policy Group meets once a term. Members of the group are serving college principals, representing further education, sixth form, tertiary and specialist colleges. The group also contains principals from independent specialist colleges and is currently chaired by Pat Brennan-Barrett, Principal, Northampton College.

AoC SEND Special Interest Group
The AoC SEND Special Interest Group meets once a term. Its members are college vice principals and senior managers with responsibility for students with special educational needs and/or disabilities. Members represent all types of college and region.
