- Future Apprenticeships Masterclass: Innovation in Apprenticeship Delivery
Future Apprenticeships Masterclass: Innovation in Apprenticeship Delivery
The Future Apprenticeships Masterclass is being hosted by Sheffield Hallam University on Tuesday 28 February 2017 from 9.00-15.00 in Sheffield.
This COMPLIMENTARY event is designed to inspire providers and employers to improve the quality of their delivery in the move from apprenticeships frameworks to standards.
You will:
Receive inputs from employers and providers about cutting edge innovative approaches which have significant benefits for apprentices, providers and employers
Hear from Sir Frank McLoughlin the Education and Training Foundation's (ETF) new Associate Director for Leadership about the leadership of apprenticeships in the ‘brave new world’. Sir Frank was Chair of the highly influential Commission on Adult Vocational Teaching and Learning (CAVTL)
Explore how the principles and practices that emerged from ETF's Teach Too and Two Way Street programmes can be incorporated into the design and delivery of apprenticeship standards.
Learn how the successful integration of Skills Competitions into apprenticeships can support high-level competitive skill development.
Throughout the day there will be opportunities for you to explore how different approaches can be adapted, contextualised and incorporated to meet a range of different needs.
You will go away feeling excited and inspired by the practice that has been showcased so that you can begin to develop innovative practice within your own apprenticeship provision.
