- Future Apprenticeships: Employer Engagement and Business Development Workshop and Online Seminar Package
Future Apprenticeships: Employer Engagement and Business Development Workshop and Online Seminar Package
Limited spaces remaining on the support packages in Bristol (Tuesday, 24 January) & Guildford (Tuesday, 31 January) - Book Now!
As part of the second phase of the Future Apprenticeships programme, commissioned by the Education and Training Foundation (ETF), AELP and partners are offering a package of support designed to develop the skills of those responsible for building new and developing existing relationships with employers to maximise the opportunities for apprenticeship growth.
The support package comprises of two one day workshops, a one hour online practice sharing seminar and access to online resources designed to enable specific topics to be explored in depth and for learning to be transferred.
Workshop 1: Building your business through engaging new employers
Workshop 2: Sales skills for developing your business through apprenticeships
In-depth resources – the titles include:
Effective Commercial Account Management
Sales, marketing and consultative selling skills
Differentiating your sales pitch and offer
Staffing, change and change management
Maximising your partner networks and collaboration opportunities
The practice sharing seminar will take place between the two workshops which are 6 - 8 weeks apart.
Learning Outcomes:
By the end of the package delegates will be able to;
Identify new business opportunities and translate these into organisational growth and development
Understand the potential for collaboration and how to maximise such opportunities
Engage employers successfully and confidently ensuring that high standards of service are evidenced throughout the employer engagement journey
Understand consultative sales techniques and apply these throughout the sales and negotiation process
Identify current levels of staff skills in relation to employer engagement and business development
Confidently cascade the skills and knowledge required for successful employer engagement and business development to their teams, building confidence and expertise
Who should attend:
Delegates should be responsible for apprenticeship business development at a strategic level within an organisation on the Skills Funding Agency’s Register of Training Organisations as a lead or sub-contractor. You should be accountable for engaging with employers, partners, stakeholders and other agencies. To maximise the impact of the support it is important that you are in a position to disseminate the training throughout your organisation.
This support builds on the employer engagement workshops offered in the first phase of the programme exploring issues in much greater depth, so previous attendees are encouraged to register.
Delegate Fees:
The cost for the package of support is £350.00 per delegate (discounts apply click here for further details). This includes both workshops and the online seminar.
