Current Opportunity - Principal & Chief Executive, Newbury College
Newbury CollegePrincipal & Chief ExecutiveSalary £100,000
Newbury College, a small college based in the heart of Berkshire, currently serves over 4,000 learners, has an annual turnover of c£9m and is rated Good with Outstanding features. We are financially secure, with self-assessed Outstanding financial health, have strong links to the community, and are committed to high quality learning opportunities for all individuals and employers in West Berkshire and the surrounding areas.
Serving a wide range of learners aged 14+, with a broad curriculum, we are an inclusive community college with an exceptional estate and facilities. In September 2019 we will see the opening of our new Primary School, situated on campus, and are discussing additional future developments to ensure that we continue to serve our community well.
Our current Principal, Dr Anne Murdoch, is retiring from her role, and as such we are now looking to appoint an inspirational successor who will have one simple clear mission – to lead Newbury College to Outstanding as deemed by Ofsted. We are looking for a visible leader who is passionate about learner success, and committed to meeting the needs of our local community. The successful candidate will have a strong track record of delivering impressive results and will be able to evidence these results. You could already be working within further education or you may be operating across the wider public or private sectors at a senior level. Either way you must be able to demonstrate an unwavering commitment to delivering the very best quality of education for all our learners.
If you feel you have the expertise to make a significant contribution to the success of Newbury College then we would like to hear from you.
