Consultation on a new approach to developing high quality National Occupational Standards (NOS)

SEMTA have undertaken to develop a possible model to support Higher Level Occupational Standards. Following their report to UKCES they are taking forward a project to pilot a new model of National Occupational Standards (NOS) and an employer led governance structure. This work is expected to be completed by the end of this year. As part of this project, SEMTA are undertaking a consultation on a proposed model for high quality NOS. There will also be a linked, but separate consultation, about governance arrangements.
