Are you currently or planning to offer Higher Technical Qualifications? These regional events being run by the AoC, and hosted by Institutes of Technology, will help you get ready and be successful.

Higher Technical Qualifications (HTQs) are new or existing level 4/5 qualifications that have been approved by the Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education (IFATE). Over 170 will be on offer from September 2024 and more are coming. Many colleges and universities are investing time and money in developing their provision accordingly. But what does the HTQ quality mark actually mean and how can it be used to engage employers and potential learners? Where is the demand for these qualifications, and what can providers to boost recruitment?

This event will provide an opportunity to better understand the regional skills needs for higher technical education, and to discuss what it means to respond collaboratively to that need. There will be a range of sessions led by policy and communications experts, and delegates will benefit from practical tips on developing and promoting HTQs. There is no cost to attend, however there will be an attendance cap of two people per organsation per event.

These events are being supported by the Gatsby Foundation.
