Application for WorldSkills UK Competition 2017

WorldSkills UK is calling for students from across the UK to take part in the nation’s largest skills competition.

From Wednesday 1 March until 7 April 2017, colleges can register students with WorldSkills UK for a chance to compete at national and international competitions in their chosen skill.

Skills competitions continue to empower young people and equip them with life-long, world-class skills that help pave the way for a bright and prosperous career.

Skills Show

The UK's Skills Show, organised by WorldSkills UK, is a catalyst for economic growth, which increases public recognition, quality and take-up of vocational skills.

AoC is central to the UK partnership and is committed to the legacy. We aim to:

  • drive increased college engagement in skills competitions and The Skills Show
  • encourage collaboration across agencies including the Association of Employers and Learning Providers
  • work to promote a sector-led approach, shaping skills competitions' activity and The Skills Show
  • strive to ensure that competitions and The Skills Show are accessible to all
