- Digital Transformation in FE Community of Practice online events
Digital Transformation in FE Community of Practice online events
As part of our strategic partnership with Ufi VocTech Trust, AoC is working with Jisc to support a community of practice focused on digital transformation in further education. The community brings together FE professionals to connect, share learning and explore approaches to digital, data and AI‑enabled transformation. It aligns with AoC Digital Transformation and AI Roadmap, and Jisc’s Digital Elevation Tool and is open to all member colleges and FE professionals, whatever their starting point.
The Digital Insight Hubs will host a series of Community of Practice online events. These events are designed for colleges at an earlier stage of digital transformation. Each session will explore a different theme through practical discussion, peer learning, and shared experiences, helping participants understand what works, overcome barriers, and identify realistic next steps. The emphasis is on collaboration, confidence-building, and learning from others who are navigating similar challenges.
Upcoming events
Tuesday 1 December 2026 13:00-14:30 - The Technology is the easy bit - Hosted by Heart of Yorkshire Education Group
Digital transformation is often associated with new systems, platforms, AI and emerging technology. But what happens when the technology is there, and people don't have the confidence, skills or opportunity to use it? This interactive session challenges the idea that digital transformation starts with technology.
This session is designed specifically for colleagues who are fresh into their digital journey within their settings. If you are starting from scratch, trying to work out how to engage curriculum teams, or looking to establish your very first digital skills CPD offer, you are in the right place. This is a supportive, collaborative space to share initial challenges, explore practical first steps, and build confidence alongside peers at the same stage.
Digital Transformation in FE CoP: The technology is the easy bit
