Shortlist announced for Whatuni Student Choice Awards

Based exclusively on student reviews, the Whatuni Student Choice Awards offer prospective students an unbiased alternative to traditional university ranking systems. This year, in partnership with the Association of Colleges, Whatuni introduced a new category exclusively for further education colleges. The inclusion of this award ensures that prospective students are able to gain insight into life at a variety of institutions with higher education provision. David Hughes, AoC Chief Executive, said: “This is a fantastic opportunity for FE colleges delivering great higher education to be recognised by one of the most prestigious student choice awards. Colleges offer flexible local and accessible higher education to a diverse range of students who all want to improve their education to get on in life. Congratulations to all the colleges shortlisted.” Shortlist for the FE college award category: Askham Bryan College Blackpool and the Fylde College Bournemouth and Poole College Bridgend College College of Haringey, Enfield and North East London (CONEL) DN Colleges Group Kingston College Solihull College and University Centre UCEN Manchester West Herts College The results are announced at the annual awards ceremony in April, and new rankings are published on the Whatuni website for the following year.
