- Players selected for 2021/22 AoC Sport England Colleges netball squad
Players selected for 2021/22 AoC Sport England Colleges netball squad

AoC Sport is delighted to announce the final selection for the 2021/22 AoC Sport England Colleges Netball squad.
The trials were held in early November at the David Ross Sports Centre at Nottingham University. More than 100 players were nominated from over 30 organisations from across the country, which then had to be whittled down to a squad of 21 players.
Congratulations to all those selected and thank you to Nottingham University for hosting the trials at their superb venue.

Thanks must go to all players, parents and college staff for attending and/or nominating players and to the England Colleges coaching staff: Julie Kimber, Alisha Gardener and Emily Cowell.
Many thanks also to the staff who helped out on the two days, in particular Joy Porter (Oaklands College) and umpires from the region.
Head Coach Julie Kimber from Gateshead College said: “It was so amazing to be back on court with AoC Sport after missing a full year due to COVID-19. We had a great number of nominations from a variety of college and education providers for the trials, which is so good to see.
“The standard at trials this year was very high and it was difficult to just select a squad of 21 players. The coaching team have selected a very talented group of players and we can’t wait to get back on court with them and to get to play against the National and Super league squads.”
The selected squad are now preparing for their first fixture of the season which will take place on 18 and 19 December in Sunderland.
