ECFA Premier League applications open for 2020/21 season

We have now opened up the application process for our ECFA Premier League (Category One) for the 2020/21 season. Entries will be accepted until midnight on Friday 5 June 2020. To enter you must complete the survey here The philosophy of our ECFA Premier League is to provide the highest quality national league competition for players within further education. Decisions on applications to enter the ECFA Premier League will be made by the ECFA Committee and will be based on the following criteria:

• Teams must meet the student entry criteria as laid out in our competition rules and the minimum operating standards of the league
• Existing teams should have performed competitively in the previous season
• New applicants must be able to demonstrate an ECFA Premier League playing performance

A reminder that for the 2020/21 season, our ECFA Women’s Premier League will look slightly different with “group” stages replacing our traditional league structure. Any team that would normally have played women’s Championship (Category Two) football will automatically be invited to compete in our top league. This will mean an increase in teams, fixtures and more localised competition at the first group stage of our premier competition. Should you have any questions please contact Ian.Barber@aoc.co.uk
