- ECFA Accredited College applications open
ECFA Accredited College applications open
We are now accepting applications to join the new ECFA Accredited College programme.
The programme is run by AoC Sport, in partnership with the FA and will replace the existing FA College Grassroots Hub programme from the start of the 2020-21 academic year. Colleges that join the programme will benefit from access to a range of Accredited Services to develop their football provision.
These Accredited Services include increased student workforce development opportunities as well as access to increased funding to develop collaborative football projects that support the rebuild of football.
The new model has been designed to be accessible for all colleges regardless of the scale of football provision and the removal of participation targets gives Accredited Colleges greater control to prioritise the ECFA strategic pillars that are most important to them.
AoC Sport’s National Football Development Officer, Dan Greenwood, said: "We are excited to share our vision for football development across FE for 2020-21.
We have listened to our members and stakeholders to produce a model that is accessible for all colleges and places student development at the core.
We will be increasing our investment into the ECFA Activator network and improving their experience as part of the programme. We understand that students have a vital role in assisting with rebuilding football and this is our commitment to supporting them.”
Please visit the ECFA Accredited Colleges page to apply.
The application window will close 31 December 2020
