Current Opportunity - Vice Principal Finance and Resources, City of Wolverhampton College
AoC Create is currently recruiting to the post of Vice Principal Finance and Resources at City of Wolverhampton College.
City of Wolverhampton College is an exciting place to be. Judged Good with Outstanding features in October 2014 the college is currently based across three main campuses.
The new Vice Principal Finance and Resources will be an influential player in the future success and development of the college. They will provide strategic leadership and direction across Finance, Estates, MIS and other associated support areas, enabling the college to meet the challenges faced by the sector.
The post will promote long term financial stability and effective resource management, ensuring that the college maximise their opportunities and work collaboratively with partner organisations. The post-holder will have the opportunity to impact positively on the whole college through strong data management and development of efficient systems to enhance performance.
The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant with a strong track record of financial planning and control at a senior management level. They should demonstrate a forward-thinking approach, strong leadership skills and the ability to engage effectively within and beyond the college. The ability to motivate and inspire a diverse workforce and an innovative, tenacious approach are of key importance.
Knowledge of the FE education arena together with an appreciation of the education funding regime would be beneficial; however, applications are welcome from high calibre individuals from diverse sector backgrounds.
