Current Opportunity - Principal and Chief Executive - Craven College
AoC - Executive Recrutiment team are excited to be supporting Craven College with the appointment of a new Principal and Chief Executive.
Craven College is an aspirational general further education college based on the outskirts of Skipton (North Yorkshire), delivering apprenticeships, 16-18 provision, adult skills, higher education, high needs and a wide portfolio of project work with employers and the unemployed. They also have sites in Ripon, Scarborough and at Leeds Bradford Airport.
Craven College have some impressive facilities which include a new £1.6m Animal Management Centre (opened in 2018) as well as their unique Aviation Academy which is based at Leeds Bradford Airport allowing access to flying schools, technical instruction, expert careers advice and aviation knowledge. In progress, is their new Equine facility which is scheduled for 2020 and will include an international-sized arena and outdoor warm-up area.
The college have an excellent career-enhancing opportunity for a current or aspiring Principal; a people person with a track record of successful strategic organisational change who will lead Craven College on their journey to excellence. A strong ambassador internally and externally, the new Principal & Chief Executive will introduce and embed best practice and make the most of opportunities at local, regional and national levels to maintain the sustainability of the organisation.
