Current Opportunity - Executive Director of Finance, York College
AoC Create is currently recruiting to the post of Executive Director of Finance at York College.
York College is one of the most successful colleges in the country. Enjoying outstanding financial health and assessed as ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted in 2013, we are seeking to appoint to the post of Executive Director of Finance.
As a Senior post holder, the Executive Director of Finance will be key to the continued success of the College. They will have a strategic leadership role relating to the external College environment and the opportunities and challenges that lie ahead. They will guide and advise governors, the Principal and the Senior Management Team on all matters of financial strategy and probity.
Responsible for all aspects of the College’s strategic and operational financial management and compliance, they will possess proven senior experience in these areas. Possession of outstanding business acumen and a demonstrable track record of the successful delivery of stretching targets is also essential.
Highly credible and exhibiting good judgement they will work with honesty and integrity at all times, understand the need to work with others to ensure the continued financial sustainability of the College, whilst investing in teaching and learning and developmental activities in challenging times.
