Director of Finance Salary: £65,000 - £75,000 plus benefits Reports to: Chief Operating Officer Location: Doncaster/Scunthorpe Following the successful merger of Doncaster College and North Lindsey College in November 2017, DN Colleges Group has an annual income of £50 million, 1,200 staff and 13,000 students and has exciting plans for its future. The Group is passionate about delivering dynamic and inspirational teaching and learning whilst contributing to the economic growth of the region. This newly created senior post will play a major role in the implementation and design of Group strategy and will help shape the organisation to deliver its ambitious plans. The Group is looking for a talented finance professional who is ready to take the next step in their career path as a strategic business partner, working with senior colleagues to deliver financial sustainability and to direct financial resources to maximum effect for our students, staff and strategic partners. We are looking for someone who is engaging, proactive and influential; someone who will lead change management and who will support and challenge colleagues to take financial ownership to drive high performance. It is essential that the successful candidate holds a full qualification from a major accountancy body (ACA, ACMA, ACCA, CIPFA). The successful candidate should be experienced in financial planning, management and control at a senior level in a complex organisation, as well as having the ability to operate in a dynamic and changeable climate.
