Director of Digital Technologies
Salary: £60,000 – £70,000 plus benefits
Reports to: Chief Operating Officer
Location: Doncaster/Scunthorpe
Following the successful merger of Doncaster College and North Lindsey College in November 2017, DN Colleges Group has an annual income of £50 million, 1,200 staff and 13,000 students and has exciting plans for its future. The Group is passionate about delivering dynamic and inspirational teaching and learning whilst contributing to the economic growth of the region. This newly created senior post will play a major role in the implementation and design of Group strategy and will help shape the organisation to deliver its ambitious plans.
The Group is looking for someone who is creative and passionate, outward-looking and dynamic; someone who understands technology but from the perspective of how it can transform organisations and change staff and students’ experiences. We want someone who not only brings people along with them but someone who instinctively operates inclusively and collegiately to harness ideas, deliver transformation and embed ownership.
It is essential that the successful candidate holds a degree level qualification or equivalent professional qualification in IT, technology or a related subject area, or can demonstrate equivalent relevant experience. The successful candidate should be experienced with managing technical and cultural change, as well as having the ability to operate in a dynamic and changeable climate.
