Career Opportunity - Head of Training & Education
England GolfLincolnshire (possibly negotiable)£24,000 - £36,000 per annum + benefits (market supplement may be available for an exceptional candidate)England Golf is a large, modern and outward looking organisation, responsible for developing and promoting the amateur game of golf in England. Its membership includes over 700,000 golfers and 1900 affiliated clubs. Later this year, England Golf will launch an ambitious new strategy, designed to increase participation and club membership.
This is a new role within England Golf and the Head of Training and Education will co-ordinate and manage the development and delivery of an extensive training and education programme within England Golf, with a particular focus on meeting the training and education needs of volunteers and paid staff within golf clubs.
Applicants must have knowledge and experience of training and education providers and potential funding streams. Previous experience within the sports industry or within the training sector is essential. The successful candidate will have experience in building and sustaining relationships with partners and in working with professionals and volunteers. They will also have outstanding communication and IT skills and demonstrate high levels of commitment and attention to detail. An understanding of the local and national structures within sport and of club management and operations is also highly desirable.
This full time position is based at England Golf Headquarters, Woodhall Spa in Lincolnshire, but this may be negotiable for an outstanding candidate.
