AoC responds to government free school meals announcement

Responding to the Department for Education's announcement on a new entitlement to free school meals, which includes those in further education, David Hughes CBE, Chief Executive, Association of Colleges said: "It is great to see the government supporting some of the most disadvantaged children and their families. A midday meal will undoubtedly support better well-being and learning for many school pupils and college students".
