AoC responds to Erasmus+ announcement

David Hughes, Chief Executive, Association of Colleges, said: "I am delighted the UK will be rejoining the Erasmus+ programme. It will allow young people, adults and college staff to benefit from partnerships with others across the EU that open up their learning and understanding of our place in the world.

"College students and staff benefit so much from meeting people in other countries and cultures, ensuring that their technical learning is supplemented with a wider enrichment. We need to make sure that Erasmus+ reaches students and staff in the most deprived communities because that is often where the biggest impact can be made."
