Salary: Competitive
City of Glasgow College has worked incredibly hard to redefine and to shape a new era of college education and improve the life chances of our 30,000 students (1,000 international in origin) and the 135 different nationalities currently studying with us.
With a turnover of £55m and a fantastic portfolio of over 2,600 courses, it is the largest and most successful further education college in Scotland.
City of Glasgow has delivered Scotland’s first Super College, valued at £228 million in total. Phase one – our Riverside Campus (replacing as it does the Glasgow College of Nautical Studies) was officially opened in October and Phase two – City Campus, is on schedule to open in summer 2016.
We are currently seeking to appoint the newly formed post of Vice Principal Student Experience to join our Executive Leadership Team. Reporting to the Principal, you will play a significant part in ensuring that teaching and learning standards are consistently world class, that the curriculum is innovative and reflective of employer needs and of our diverse community, and that all learners receive an excellent student experience at all times.
Responsible for the strategic development and inspirational leadership of all aspects of a world class learning and teaching environment, the new post holder will have a successful track record within the further education sector, with a profound understanding of curriculum strategy and the ability to respond creatively to the specific teaching and learning needs of our students.

Closing date for applications is Wednesday 1 June 2016.
The final selection process will be held at City of Glasgow College on Thursday 16 and Friday 17 June 2016.
