Further Education and Skills Connect (FES Connect) is a national community for Post 16 careers leaders and practitioners, supporting development and sharing of best practice to ensure every learner is supported to find their next best step.
This hot topics series will be run by the Careers and Enterprise Company in partnership with AoC. Seminars will include specialist guest speakers, breakout sessions to discuss hot topics and opportunities to share best practice.

Hot Topic 1: Tuesday 13 October 2026, 3:30 - 5pm
Theme: Tutorial staff delivery- careers in progress, pastoral and enrichment framework.
Hot Topic 2: Wednesday 10 March 2027, 3:30 - 5pm
Theme: Inclusion through careers education- supporting those whose needs go unmet, widening participation to mitigate barriers that limit opportunities, supporting social mobility and underserved groups (economically marginalised backgrounds and SEN and disabilities).
