AoC Student Governor Development Day

Join us for a dedicated Student Governor Development Day designed to build confidence, strengthen communication skills and help student governors make an effective contribution in the boardroom. The day will combine an engaging morning session led by Loud Speaker with practical AoC-led activities focused on the student governor role, asking good questions, contributing to strategic discussions, understanding role boundaries and using student insight effectively.

Delegates will also have the chance to connect with student governors from other colleges, share experiences and leave with practical ideas they can use in their next board or committee meeting. The event is designed to be interactive, supportive and accessible, with a strong focus on helping student governors feel confident, informed and ready to make their voice count.
