Post one
Adult learning transforms lives, strengthens communities and supports local economic growth.
Colleges are at the forefront of delivering opportunities that help adults gain skills, progress in work and improve their wellbeing.
During the week of action for #AdultLearningPays, we’re proud to champion the value of adult education and the difference it makes to our learners and communities.
Our learners’ stories show why adult learning deserves greater recognition and investment.
Post two
One week to go until week of action for #AdultLearningPays.
From 19-23 October, employers, colleges, learners, parliamentarians, local leaders and partners will come together to champion the vital role adult learning plays in helping people develop skills, access new opportunities and progress in work.
Adult learning supports stronger communities, a skilled workforce and economic growth - and we all have a role to play in making the case for its value.
I'm celebrating the impact adult learning has had on my life this week as part of the #AdultLearningPays campaign.
Through [COURSE/LEARNING JOURNEY], I've been able to [ACHIEVEMENT/IMPACT].
Everyone's learning journey is different, and adult learning can provide the skills, confidence and opportunities needed to take the next step, whatever that looks like.
Every adult deserves the chance to learn, retrain and thrive.
Adult learning helps people develop the skills they need to progress, while supporting employers, businesses and communities to thrive.
Strong partnerships between education providers, employers and other key sector organisations are essential to widening opportunity and driving growth.
That's why we're supporting the week of action for #AdultLearningPays and helping to raise awareness of the value of adult learning.
Together, we can champion the role adult education plays in creating opportunities, strengthening communities and supporting a skilled, adaptable workforce.
