Men's Hockey Rep Team

The England Colleges National Hockey teams have been operating for over 15 years providing a unique and exciting opportunity for talented hockey players to perform at international level representing their country through domestic and international fixtures. The team is made up of the finest athletes who meet up and play several matches throughout the year.

2021-22 England Colleges national hockey trials

Players are considered across the AoC Sport membership through a one-day trial process. All AoC Sport members and associates are encouraged to nominate players for the national hockey team through our Naqoda site via their Club Administrator from September 2021 until the closing date.

The closing date for nominations was Monday, 11 October 2021, the final trials were run on Friday, 5 November 2021 at Bloxham School, where 22 players were selected.

The service is run by Professor Philip Chapman-Sheath, a highly specialist Consultant Orthopaedic Knee Surgeon, with over 25 years of sports knee injury experience - treating adults and children with sports related knee injuries, working in a wide geographical area over Southern England in schools, sports clubs, academies, professional sports clubs and the military. They provide advice on injury prevention through to specialist investigation , surgery and dedicated rehabilitation back to full sporting activity - in conjunction with specialist physiotherapy services under the management of Stephanie Cain, a highly experienced musculoskeletal physiotherapist with over 30 years of experience working alongside amateur and professional sporting individuals and teams.
