The Strongest

The Strongest is a national strength competition designed to identify and celebrate the strongest male and female college students in the country.

Online Qualification

1 October to 31 December 2026

Students submit one-repetition maximum lifts for:

  • Deadlift
  • Back Squat
  • Clean and Press

Athletes receive leaderboard points based on performance rankings across each lift.

National Final

10 March 2027

Venue: Runshaw College

The top 12 male and top 12 female athletes will compete across five strongman-inspired events to determine the strongest students in the country.
