Croydon College is a vibrant, ambitious education and skills provider with a broad Further and Higher Education offer, committed to transforming lives, enhancing opportunities and contributing to economic prosperity in Croydon and its surrounding areas. Formed by a merger of Croydon College and Coulsdon Sixth Form College in 2019, we have been on a remarkable journey of transformation and growth in the last few years. An impactful anchor institution, the college contributes significantly to the success and regeneration of Croydon, which is London’s largest borough and home to a thriving business community.
We are seeking an inspiring manager who is passionate about their subject and committed to helping students build successful careers. Whether you are an experienced curriculum leader or an exceptional lecturer ready to take your first step into management, we want to hear from you. What matters most is your technical expertise, strong teaching practice and ability to inspire and develop others. You will bring energy, ambition and a commitment to high standards, with the opportunity to grow your leadership skills alongside a supportive team. Our successful candidate will have strong technical expertise across one or more construction disciplines, such as brickwork, plumbing or the wider construction and built environment sector.
This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of construction education at Croydon College, leading a committed team and helping to grow and develop our provision. You will be passionate about education, inclusion and transforming lives through learning, with a commitment to securing the best outcomes for students and an ethos aligned with our FREDIE principles: Fairness, Respect, Equality, Diversity, Inclusion and Engagement.
If you have the expertise, ambition and passion to take our construction curriculum to the next level, we would love to hear from you.
