- Technical and Vocational Professional Development (TVPD) Programme webinar
Technical and Vocational Professional Development (TVPD) Programme webinar
Venue: Online via Zoom
Date: 18 September 2026
Time: 3:30 PM - 4:30 PM
Fee: Free for AoC Members
Join the Association of Colleges (AoC) for the national launch of the Technical and Vocational Professional Development (TVPD) Programme, delivered on behalf of the Department for Education (DfE).
This webinar is designed for anyone involved in delivering technical and vocational qualifications.
This one-hour webinar will introduce the new national programme designed to support the successful implementation and delivery of technical and vocational qualifications across the further education sector. As post-16 education reforms continue, the programme will help providers strengthen teaching practice, build subject expertise and prepare for the delivery of T Levels, V Levels and Level 2 pathways.
During the session, delegates will:
- Gain an overview of the national TVPD programme and its strategic aims.
- Discover the role of the nine regional Technical and Vocational Education (TVE) hubs and the new TVPD platform for practitioners and leaders
- Explore the support available for teachers, leaders and providers
- Understand how subject-specific professional development, industry engagement and collaborative networks will strengthen technical and vocational education
- See how the programme will support provider readiness, organisational capability and long-term workforce development
- Find out how to engage with future opportunities, events and professional development activities throughout the programme
Whether you are a senior leader, curriculum manager, teacher or practitioner involved in the delivery of technical and vocational qualifications, this webinar will
provide an essential introduction to the programme and the opportunities available to your organisation.
Join us as we launch this ambitious national programme and how we can work together to strengthen high-quality technical and vocational education across England.
