The student engagement programme is an integral part of the AoC Annual Conference and Exhibition. We are delighted to offer an amazing opportunity for the students of AoC member colleges to gain real-life work experience or perform at our flagship event.
We have places available in:
- Artwork - for display only on Tuesday 10 and Wednesday 11 November
- Photography - for display only on Tuesday 10 and Wednesday 11 November
- Catering - Tuesday 10 and Wednesday 11 November
- Waiter service - Tuesday 10 and Wednesday 11 November
- Floristry - Monday 9 or Tuesday 10 November (Day TBC)
- Massages and/or other therapies - Tuesday 10 and Wednesday 11 November
- Event management - Tuesday 10 and Wednesday 11 November
- Press and media journalism and digital marketing - Tuesday 10 and Wednesday 11 November
- Performing arts - Tuesday 10 November
This performance category is applicable to any of the following:
- Drinks reception on Tuesday 10 November, late afternoon from 16:00 to 20:00 - Exact timings to be confirmed.
- Two conference dinner performances on Tuesday 10 November evening (1st performance to open the dinner & 2nd performance to close the awards ceremony).
For the performances, we invite colleges to create a performance piece showing how they are building an inclusive, welcoming environment where students from all backgrounds feel they belong and can thrive. This is a chance to creatively demonstrate how your college promotes the values of wellbeing, inclusion, and student engagement to empower all learners.
Please note that eligible students will be required to demonstrate an adequate level of relevant skills and experience in the selected area, together with the maturity and enthusiasm required to assist a group of professional event managers and staff at the ICC, whose aim is to ensure the success of this well-established conference and exhibition. NB. Submissions are only open to AoC member colleges and to strictly 18+ students.
The closing date for ALL submissions is midnight, Sunday 13 September.
