- Digital Transformation in FE Community of Practice
Digital Transformation in FE Community of Practice
Venue: Online
Date: 3 November 2026
Time: 10:30 AM - 12:00 PM
Fee: Free for AoC members
These community of practice events are designed for colleges at an earlier stage of digital transformation. Each session will explore a different theme through practical discussion, peer learning, and shared experiences, helping participants understand what works, overcome common barriers, and identify realistic next steps. The emphasis is on collaboration, confidence-building, and learning from others who are navigating similar challenges.
AI Adoption at your college: from foundations to practical impact - Tuesday 3 November 2026, 10:30-12:00 - hosted by South Staffordshire College
Taking your first steps with AI can feel exciting and daunting in equal measure. This friendly, practical session is designed for colleagues who are beginning to explore institution-wide adoption, or who want to turn early experimentation into a more joined-up approach. South Staffordshire College will share honest experiences of developing policy and governance, building staff and learner confidence, and testing AI in real settings. Across three connected themes, we will move from the foundations for safe adoption, into a hands-on learner and staff activity, and finally into practical apprenticeship workflows that can reduce workload, cost and environmental impact. You will leave with ideas, examples and small next steps that can be adapted to your own setting.
Please note that these events won't be recorded, as they are a safe space for peers to share and discuss their challenges.
