FA Just Play
Bringing flexible, inclusive football to more students
FA Just Play is The FA’s national programme for recreational football. It is designed to make football accessible, inclusive and informal, ideal for students who want to play for fun, fitness or connection.
For all ECFA Accredited Colleges, all recreational football activity can now be delivered through Just Play. Whether you are starting something new or already running informal sessions, registering your offer through Just Play gives it national visibility, access to rewards, and a direct link to the wider football community.

What is Book Football
Book Football is The FA’s platform for managing Just Play sessions. The platform allows you to:
- Register and manage all recreational football sessions.
- Track attendance and manage bookings.
- Access national branding, promotional resources and toolkits.
- Set up private student only sessions.

Getting started
Head to Book Football to sign up selecting AoC Sport as your Just Play national partner
Complete FA Accredited online training (20 minutes)
Schedule a minimum of 6 sessions
Run your sessions and upload attendance

Whether you are starting something new or incorporating your existing activity into the Just Play framework, we will provide full support throughout the process. This includes:
- One-to-one setup calls and guidance
- Continued administrative support across the year
- Regular reminders and updates through ECFA communications
- Opportunities to feed into the national development of Just Play in colleges
