Pan-Ability Club Partnership Fund
Build stronger pathways from college into community football
Up to £1,000 funding available for ECFA Accredited Colleges
The Pan-Ability College & Club Partnership Fund supports Accredited Colleges to build or strengthen partnerships with local England Football Accredited Clubs, helping disabled students access more opportunities to play, coach, volunteer and stay involved in football beyond college.
The fund is designed to create sustainable links between colleges and community clubs, with support from your County FA.
What could the funding support?
Your £1,000 can help bring the partnership to life through a joint project or initiative.
This could include:
- A new community Just Play or Comets programme
- A pan-ability football engagement event
- Creating new transition opportunities for college players into club football
- Student coach or volunteer deployment into the partner club
- Hosting community club activity on college facilities
- Another joint FA initiative that strengthens the partnership
The key aim is to create an opportunity that helps the college and club work together and provides a clear route for continued participation.
The Pathway for Development
Build a partnership with a local England Football 2 or 3 Star Accredited Club that supports pan-ability football in your area.
Agree how the partnership will create new opportunities. This could include player transition, student coaching or volunteering, shared activity or use of college facilities.
Create a simple Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) outlining the partnership, shared aims and intended outcomes. Your County FA MUST be involved throughout to help shape and support the partnership.
Once the partnership and MOU are in place, your college can request up to £1,000 to support an activity or initiative that helps develop the partnership.
Before you apply
Please speak to your County FA before completing the application form.
Your County FA will help you identify and agree a suitable 2 or 3 Star Thriving Community Club to partner with your college and ensure the partnership will support the clubs Accreditation progression.
