ECFA Football Activators

ECFA Activators support the design and delivery of football opportunities that help more students play or volunteer within the game at your college. They also develop themselves by working across any areas that interest them. For example: Coaching, Refereeing, Media, Event Organisation, Analysis, Youth Voice or many others!

The Role

What is the role?

Colleges and Activators can make the role whatever is most appropriate for their college, but it more than just delivering football provision, but anything that helps more students play or volunteer within football at your college. This could include:

Develop Recreational Football – Supporting students who would not normally want to be involved in traditional football teams.

Coaching - Inspiring and working with the college football team to be the best they can be!

Media - Supporting the college in promoting all the amazing work and celebrating your students and staff involved with football.

Officiating & Workforce – Identifying and supporting students who may want to get started as a coach, referee, or other role within the game.

Student Voice & Leadership- Ensuring students are listened to throughout your college and support staff in the key decisions being made.

Football Events - Supporting the planning and delivery of football-specific events happening at your college.
